MTN 2012 Annual Meeting  

The 2012 Microbicide Trials Network (MTN) Annual Meeting will be held at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Road, North Bethesda, MD 20852 from February 18-23, 2012. Please find attached a general letter of invitation. The current DRAFT version of the agenda is located on our website under the Meetings and Travel tab; www.mtnstopshiv.org

On-line registration is also available on the MTN website.

Everyone planning to attend any part of the MTN Annual Meeting MUST register for the meeting. The final day to register for the meeting will be Thursday, February 9, 2012. Login to the MTN website is not required to register for the meeting. Please be sure to identify ALL sessions that you plan to attend. Please note; the current scheduled meetings on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday are closed meetings to invited guests only. Information for securing hotel accommodations with the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center is available on the MTN website and in the general letter of invitation. The hotel room cut-off date is Saturday, January 28, 2012.

Who Should Attend the MTN Annual Meeting?
The intended participants include two (2) representatives from each CTU (for example, principal investigator/site coordinator), as well as staff from Leadership (CORE, SDMC, CL, NIH), RCC, PPD and other collaborating partners. There will be a divided plenary session on Monday and Tuesday morning; followed by protocol break-out sessions. Investigators directly affiliated with the MTN should plan to have representation at the meeting all three days. Guests and other organizations doing microbicide research would be most likely interested in attending the plenary sessions on the mornings of Monday and Tuesday, February 20-21, 2012.
