Advocates' Network

The Advocates' Network is an electronic network for organizations and individuals interested in receiving timely updates about developments in the biomedical HIV prevention field. Network members can expect to receive periodic alerts (2-4 per month) that include coverage of trial results, "roundups" that provide intervention-specific updates, notifications of HIV prevention events and civil society teleforums, and links to additional resources of interest.

P-Values

P-Values is AVAC’s bulletin highlighting advocacy work by our partners and many other stakeholders around the world. “P-value” is a statistical term for the probability that a trial result is a real finding and not the result of chance. As the world faces new challenges and opportunities in prevention research, the global advocacy community isn’t leaving anything to chance. P-Values tracks work on country- and community-level engagement in trials, preparing for results and implementation of new findings. Each issue will be short, sharp and to the point.

Weekly NewsDigest

The Weekly NewsDigest is an unedited compilation of media coverage of microbicides and other prevention research, abstracts of articles on prevention research and relevant science in peer-reviewed journals; material on other reproductive health; and matters of policy and politics with importance for HIV prevention research, development, and advocacy.
