AVAC Receives $14 Million Grant
from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
AVAC announced that it has received a five-year, $14 million grant from the Gates Foundation to create a new international HIV Prevention Research Advocacy Network.

Global HIV Prevention Working Group releases its new report:
"Bringing HIV Prevention to Scale: An Urgent Global Priority" (click title to download)
The report discusses the importance of greatly expanding coverage of evidence-based HIV prevention interventions, provides examples of successful scale-up efforts and contains valuable graphics and figures on rates of coverage for existing prevention interventions worldwide. It also offers recommendations for national governments, donors, multilateral organizations, providers, the research field, and civil society.
