  • Therapeutic vaccines have become a hot topic in cure conversations. It’s clear that HIV lurks in dormant, non-replicating cells and that these reservoirs need to be eliminated for an effective cure. Cure research is exploring a variety of one-two punch combinations that would flush out these reservoirs and then neutralize the remaining virus. A therapeutic vaccine could be an ideal tool for the second step in this process.
