Young Women Will Not Be Shamed To Talk About Their Bodies & Lives

The Young Women’s Leadership Initiative released this statement at the HIV Research for Prevention 2018 Conference as part of a protest demanding the research community expand and deepen their collaboration with communities of young women who are at risk of HIV or living with HIV. This initiative was coordinated by AVAC, the Athena Network and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance with support from the International Partnership for Microbicides and the Microbicides Trial Network.
