Janki is AVAC’s Data Manager for Product Introduction and Access. She coordinates the Product Introduction and Access team and manages requests for data analyses. In this role, Janki leads the PrEP Tracker project, collaborates with partners on reporting and data analyses, and manages AVAC’s PrEPWatch website. Since joining AVAC, Janki has completely automated and systematized the data collection processes of the Product Introduction and Access team and has aided in the team effort to rebuild PrEPWatch.
Prior to joining AVAC, Janki was a Health Policy Advocate where she collected data on unlawful evictions and eviction moratoria due to the COVID-19 pandemic, used this data to support the CDC’s issuance of the national eviction moratorium of 2020, and represented the Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) in a statewide policy campaign to advocate for primary lead poisoning prevention legislation in NY.
Janki joined AVAC in 2020, bringing her expertise as a biologist and experience as a quantitative and qualitative data analyst. She has published several publications in scientific journals, including in PLOS Global Public Health, The Journal of infectious Disease, the Journal of the International AIDS Society, and PLOS One.
