Senior Program Manager: Partnership Action Plan

Justine is Senior Program Manager: Policy Advocacy and Partnership Action Plan. In this role, Justine helps lead COMPASS, supports key populations-focused advocacy work, and drives AVAC’s Partnership Action Plan implementation. Since joining AVAC, Justine has led the COMPASS coalition secretariat and sub-granting functions as the coalition expanded to 28 partners. She has also led the development of AVAC’s partnership strategy.

Prior to joining AVAC, Justine was Director of Africa and Middle East Programs at Americares where she oversaw global health partnerships, programs and country office operations across Africa and the Middle East, and spearheaded Americares Ebola response in Sierra Leone during the West Africa Ebola Epidemic.

Justine joined AVAC in 2019, bringing over a decade of experience managing global health programs and partnerships, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health, health systems strengthening and infection prevention and control. Justine has an MA in International Affairs from the New School in New York City, and holds a BA in History from Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany.
