February 19, 2023 to February 23, 2023
The 30th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI), held from February 19 to 22, 2023, is planned as an in-person conference at the new Summit Convention Center in Seattle, Washington.
The best and most consequential original research on HIV and related conditions will define the science at the conference. CROI 2023 will also accept important new findings on SARS-CoV-2 and the mpox virus. The in-person conference will also feature innovative interactive sessions, rich poster sessions and networking opportunities.

Conference coverage will available via aidsmap, AVAC on Twitter @hivpxresearch and the conference hashtag: #CROI2023.
Daily Research Updates (Margarita/Breakfast Club)
CROI’s Community Liaison Subcommittee (CLS), in collaboration with a range of global partners, will organize Daily Community Research Updates, held each day before official CROI conference sessions started.
These updates provided an intimate setting for attendees joining from different time-zones (breakfast or margarita time), in which advocates had the opportunity to ask questions directly to researchers and engage in dialogue. The focus for each day varied, but the schedule is designed to cover key HIV research topics with special attention to any major developments presented at CROI.
